December Siren Test Canceled
Richland Co EMA: The monthly Tornado Siren Test for December has been canceled. The next scheduled test will be January 28th at 4PM EST.
Santa Net Returns for 20th Consecutive Year
Santa net on 3.916 MHz returns for its 20th consecutive year. Part of The 3916 Nets, Santa Net will kick-off on November 28th and run through December 23rd. The net will be active Thursday through Saturday night until December 18th at which point the net will run nightly.

ANOTHER POWERFUL X-FLARE
Active sunspot 4274 erupted again today, producing a powerful X4-class solar flare. Unlike earlier explosions this week, this one was not squarely aimed at Earth. Even so, a CME is expected to deliver a glancing blow to our planet’s magnetic field, and a geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for Nov. 16-17.
